Job Duties:

Use your knowledge of PCB design to engage in online forums, blogs, and social networking sites to promote and advocate for Mentor’s PCB design software solutions. The successful candidate will identify, track, and participate in digital conversations relating to Mentor PCB solutions and overall PCB design, from schematic capture, through simulation, analysis, layout, routing, and out to manufacturing. S/he will also create digital content for advocacy such as blogs, video features, podcasts, and other relevant platforms. The candidate will also be required to regularly submit articles to relevant industry publications, develop white-papers, and to participate in industry events.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering or two years technical degree with CID+ certification

2. Five-years or more hands-on experience with PCB design, preferably for commercial applications

3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

4. Passion for advocacy and engagement

5. Outgoing individual, engaging presenter

6. Track record of community and/or industry engagement such as keynote presentations, paper submissions, industry event participation

7. Willingness to recommend forums, formats, and platforms that could expand Mentor’s brand awareness in the PCB connected user community

8. Highly accountable individual who is a self-starter and able to work independently

9. Knowledge of/or willingness to learn and maintain a high degree of literacy with Mentor PCB tools, especially Xpedition

10. Regular submission of progress reports and project reviews

11. Ability to collaborate with wider team for program management, goal setting, and identity of opportunities for engagement

12. Willingness to travel of up to 25% of work time
