Job Duties:

As part of the Verification Solutions R&D team, this position is responsible for direct hands-on support to technical groups outside of the development team on the setup, usage and features of the VirtuaLAB Ethernet product.

Secondly, this role will also contribute to the ongoing product development of the Ethernet product itself. It will involve close work and collaboration with other members of the team in Europe and Egypt as well as in USA.

This is a hands-on technical role covering a variety of interesting tasks, working and championing emerging new verification features, improving the usage model of the product and helping deployments to be successful.

Based in USA within the Mentor Emulation Division, travel, including overseas will be required.

Terms of reference: Reports directly to the local Line Manager in USA, Mentor Emulation Division. Works as part of the worldwide development team on VirtuaLAB Ethernet.

Job Qualifications:

Must be qualified to degree level in Electrical/Electronic, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar. Must have at least 5 years relevant experience including working at a detailed technical level with Ethernet based protocols, preferably in a product development role. Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills. Must have good software skills within a Linux environment having used tools such as TCL, Python and preferably C/C++. Must have logic simulation tools and Verilog HDL expertise. Must have high level of tenacity in approach to problem solving.
